Chapter 3:
Dick yelped as he woke up. He anxiously examined his surroundings. He was relieved to find himself in his room back at his apartment. The walls were a light brown, like a cappuccino, the floor hardwood. The room was fairly empty except for his bed, nightstand, his desk and computer, and a few boxes here and there.
He held his face in his hands, massaging his head. He had a horrible migraine, like he often got. But he didn’t pay attention that. He felt relieved.
